A time zone is an area that complies to a uniform standard time for legal, commercial and social purposes. Your TraceMyIP account can be set to a specific timezone that corresponds to your local geographical time. All website visitor activity is reported in your account’s global time timezone.
In order to adjust your account timezone, you must be logged in as an account owner. If you are logged in as an authorized user, only the time format can be adjusted.
To change your account’s global timezone:
- Login to your account
- Go to My Account > General Settings
- Select an appropriate timezone from the [Your Timezone] drop down menu
- Click on the [Update] button at the bottom of the page
Note that the real-time data captured before the timezone change, will continue to display using the previously specified timezone. The new timezone setting will only be applied to records captured after the setting has been updated.
Note: Authorized users do not have an access to account timezone adjustments unless an authorized user is granted full administrative privileges.
