Once the plugins or extensions are removed, the tracking codes will automatically be removed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Manually inserted codes into pages, website headers, or footers.<\/strong> If the tracker JavaScript or HTML codes were manually placed into pages served, these would have to be removed in the same order they were placed.\n<p>If the codes were installed into the header or footer of a website, removing the code manually would automatically remove it from all pages of the website. If the code was manually inserted into each individual page, then those pages would need to be manually edited to remove the code in the same manner it was installed. This also applies to the link and page access control trackers and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tracemyip.org\/learn\/how-to-block-an-ip-address-1017\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>IP blockers<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Additional notes<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>When a visitor tracker project is deleted, the codes must be manually removed from the websites. Leaving the codes intact on websites that point to a non-existing project would create a notice on the website indicating that the project does not exist. This also applies to link and page trackers that point to a non-existing project.<\/li>\n<li>When a visitor tracker has an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tracemyip.org\/learn\/how-to-make-a-visitor-tracker-invisible-91\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>invisible tracker mode<\/strong><\/a> enabled and you have stopped using the service completely and have not renewed your subscription, all projects and the account will be automatically removed after a period of time. Once the projects are removed, the visitor trackers will become visible, indicating that the projects no longer exist. In this case, the codes would need to be manually removed.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that all code instances are removed, disable the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tracemyip.org\/learn\/how-to-make-a-visitor-tracker-invisible-91\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"58\" title=\"How to make a visitor tracker invisible (hide tracker icon)\">invisible tracker<\/a> option on the applicable project, remove the codes, and browse your website pages to confirm the removal.<\/li>\n<li>Some website publishing tools offer website cache tools.
