Domain.com visitor tracker and counter code installation<\/h2>\n

When you register a TraceMyIP account, you will be provided with an IP tracker code<\/a> that you will need to install into your website’s header<\/strong> or footer<\/strong>. The code has to be loaded on every page of your site.<\/p>\n

To install a web tracking code using your domain.com<\/strong> hosted website, follow these steps:<\/h4>\n

  1. Use the provided code<\/strong>, generate a new or recover a visitor tracker code<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Login<\/strong> to your domain.com<\/strong> user account, click on “Active Domains<\/strong>” and then on the “Manage<\/strong>” button

  3. On the next screen,<\/strong> click on the “WebsiteBuilder<\/strong>” followed by the “Manage Site<\/strong>” button on the right panel under Settings<\/strong>

  4. Within the Website Builder, click on the “Settings<\/strong>” menu section on the left and then on “< > HTML Injection<\/strong>“

If you need to hide the tracker icon, you can enable an “invisible tracker option<\/a>“.

    \nIf you are using a TraceMyIP “Page Tracker” option to     control your visitor access to pages<\/a>, then you will need to install a Page Tracker code<\/strong> into the “Head HTML<\/strong>” section and a Visitor Tracker code<\/strong> into the “Body end HTML<\/strong>“. <\/p>\n

    You may also need to add the same tracker codes to both “Desktop<\/strong>” and “Mobile<\/strong>” versions of the website. In the screenshot below, you will see two icons circled in red (located at the top of the editor”), which can be used to select a mobile or a desktop version of the website builder template.

  6. Once the code(s) have been added, click on the “Apply<\/strong>” button first, then on the “Publish<\/strong>” button. It may take a couple of minutes for the changes to be applied

  7. After the changes have been applied<\/strong>, visit your website pages (both on a desktop and a mobile device) and verify<\/strong> that the visitor tracker icon appears on all pages<\/strong>. Once verified and you would like to use an invisible tracker<\/a>, you can enable the “Invisible Tracker<\/a>” option.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
