When using PayPal as a source of funding<\/a><\/strong> for your TraceMyIP subscription, there will be 2 different methods<\/strong> to upgrade your subscription level<\/p>\n

Upgrading monthly recurring<\/span> payments subscription<\/h2>\n

If you have a premium recurring<\/strong> TraceMyIP subscription that is paid on a month-to-month <\/strong>basis, you can update your subscription level by following the steps below:<\/p>\n

  1. Log out from your TraceMyIP account<\/li>\n
  2. Log in to your PayPal account<\/li>\n
  3. Follow the steps as shown in managing PayPal subscriptions<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Wait for 10-15<\/strong> minutes and then log back into your TraceMyIP account. If you are presented with a subscription renewal page, then this confirms that your current subscription has been successfully canceled and is ready for an update<\/li>\n
  5. Select the new desired level of TraceMyIP subscription. The PayPal subscriptions can both be upgraded and downgraded<\/li>\n
  6. Following the payment, you may need to wait up to 20<\/strong> minutes for PayPal to update your TraceMyIP account. If your account is not instantly upgraded, logout and log back in after about half an hour<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    * Note that at the time of an upgrade, you have the option to save money by using yearly payments instead of monthly installments.<\/p>\n

    Upgrading a yearly prepaid non-recurring subscription<\/h2>\n

    If you are paying once a year<\/strong> for your subscription, you can instantly upgrade your subscription level by paying for the difference in cost until the next yearly payment date. Upgrading your yearly subscription does not extend nor change the time of your original yearly subscription renewal date. If for example, your yearly subscription ends in 2 months, upgrading your subscription will only cost the difference in price for the next 2 months of service.<\/p>\n

    To upgrade your yearly subscription<\/span><\/strong>, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

    1. Login in to your TraceMyIP account<\/li>\n
    2. Using the main menu, navigate to [My Account<\/strong>] => [Upgrade Subscription<\/strong>]<\/li>\n
    3. Select the new desired level of TraceMyIP subscription. The PayPal subscriptions can both be upgraded and downgraded<\/li>\n
    4. Proceed to the PayPal payment procedure<\/li>\n
    5. Once payment is made, please allow up to 20<\/strong> minutes for PayPal to update your TraceMyIP account.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Once you have completed a subscription upgrade, you can download a copy of your invoice<\/a><\/strong>. All invoices<\/a> are stored indefinitely under one account as long as your account is used.<\/p>\n
