Choose the &#8220;<strong>Header<\/strong>&#8221; (recommended) or the &#8220;<strong>Footer<\/strong>&#8221; tracker position using the drop-down menu<\/li>\n<li>Click on the [<strong>Update Settings<\/strong>] button at the bottom of the page<\/li>\n<li>If you are using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tracemyip.org\/learn\/cloudflare-content-security-policies-csps-and-visitor-ip-tracking-1999\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"28\" title=\"Cloudflare Content Security Policies (CSPs) and Visitor IP Tracking\">Cloudflare<\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tracemyip.org\/learn\/disable-rocket-loader-to-enable-visitor-ip-tracking-936\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"41\" title=\"Disable Rocket Loader to enable Visitor IP Tracking\">Rocket Loader<\/a>, you would need to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tracemyip.org\/learn\/disable-rocket-loader-to-enable-visitor-ip-tracking-936\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deactivate Rocket Loader<\/a>. Login to your Cloudflare dashboard and go to the Speed tab. Scroll down to &#8220;Rocket Loader&#8221;, and toggle the feature off to enable real-time visitor tracking. Please note that some website cache plugins can also interfere with tracking and should be disabled.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Confirm the code installation:<\/strong> the tracker icon should now be visible on ALL pages of your website, including the mobile version. If the tracker icon does not show up on the mobile version of your website, you may need to manually place <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">the same<\/span> (important!) visitor tracker code in the header of your mobile website template.<\/li>\n<li><strong> If you need a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tracemyip.org\/learn\/how-to-make-a-visitor-tracker-invisible-91\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"58\" title=\"How to make a visitor tracker invisible (hide tracker icon)\">hidden tracker<\/a><\/strong>, using the &#8220;<strong>Tracker Icon Position<\/strong>&#8221; menu set the option to &#8220;<strong>Header Script<\/strong>&#8220;. After that, you can enable an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tracemyip.org\/learn\/how-to-make-a-visitor-tracker-invisible-91\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">invisible visitor tracking<\/a> option <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">once <\/span>you confirm that the tracker shows up on all pages.\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong> that when the tracker position is set to &#8220;<strong>Header Script<\/strong>&#8220;, the tracker icon may show up initially in the header or a footer on the left. However, once you enable the <strong>invisible tracking<\/strong> option, it will become completely invisible.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Important!<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li>Disable any AD blockers in the browser that you are using to test your code installation. The AD blockers can block the tracker from appearing in some instances.<\/li>\n<li>If you are using any website cache scripts, these may prevent the tracking scripts from being loaded. When your tracker icon does <strong>not<\/strong> show up after you have installed the code, try disabling any website page <strong>optimization<\/strong>, <strong>cache<\/strong>, or <strong>JavaScript<\/strong> <strong>minification<\/strong> plugins to see where the issue is. Read <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tracemyip.org\/learn\/website-caching-cdn-and-website-analytics-and-visitor-tracking-issues-2422\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>how to bypass the website cache<\/strong><\/a> to enable normal tracking.<\/li>\n<li>If you are unable to login to TraceMyIP within the WordPress dashboard and are being logged out immediately, ensure that your browser can utilize third-party cookies and at the same time avoid using browser incognito mode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong>Alternative Visitor Tracker setup:<\/strong> Using TraceMyIP without a WordPress plugin<\/h2>\n<p>If you would like to use TraceMyIP visitor tracking without using a WordPress plugin or use other web editors and publishing tools, you simply need to follow <strong>STEP 1<\/strong> and <strong>STEP 2<\/strong> and then place your visitor tracker code into your website&#8217;s header or a footer. Once the code is placed, verify that the tracker icon shows up on ALL pages of your website, which will confirm the tracker installation.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>The <strong>Page Tracker<\/strong> option for the WordPress plugin<\/h2>\nTraceMyIP plugin for WordPress also supports a <strong>Page Tracker<\/strong>, which is an additional feature. It allows you to control or block access to your entire website or individual pages. Using website visitor filters, it is possible to create rules for specific visitors or a range of visitors based on their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tracemyip.org\/learn\/what-is-an-ip-address-127\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"14\" title=\"What is an IP address?\">IP address<\/a>, origin, location, ISP provider, referrer, and other characteristics.
